CUSCO 6pt cage

Has any1 seen one in a 240sx? I heard some rumors that you have to disconnect your automatic seat belt.. is that true?

Why keep your stock 14 year old seat belts, but have a roll cage?

It is common sense to install a harness when installing a cage.

Just to be far & awnser your question directly..because I have been accused of "coming off like an ***" because I expect people to already have common sense.

The awnser is NO you CANNOT use the active restraint system with the cage.
Here is a write up of it.

Why have a rollcage? If the car is that fast/unsafe to need one. You should at the very least have a racing seat & harness. If your GF doesnt understand this then she doesnt need to be in the car with you.
A daily driver car with a cage could be extremely dangerous. If the paramedics need to get you out of the car. It makes it extremely difficult.
Just by putting a cage in your car doesnt make it safer.

Or are you doing this just for looks? Which it seems like.

i have only one car so its going to be used for both... its not like shse doesn't understand.. it just makes it easy for her... i'm not going to road race with her in the car... but for normal driving to the mall or something I just want it to be nice for her... looks isn't my main concern being that my car is still primer white....

gonna race soloI?

the pipes for the cage would be in the way of the auto seatbelts, so triming interior pieces won't make fit any better.
