Datsun 510 and the John Roper install...
As a member of the 240 forums I find it important, and my duty to provide any info on Datsun/Nissan drift cars.
Not only for the 240sx, but also for the 80's 200sx/240/260/280/300/350z, and of course the ultimate poor mans bimmer the datsun 1967-73
coupe 510's/ Datsun 1200 Roadsters if you can ever get your hands on one..........
Here is all the info you need for KA install into a datsun 510, and the compatibility of NAPS-Z and L Series.
The article is writen by John Roper, this is a great article so pay attention......

Your tellin me........
When I was 19 my friend had gotten me into the 510 passion.
I couldn't believe that a 510 could keep up with a chevy corvette.... But it is very true......
Well atleast upto 150mph that is........
I think that people need to respect the integrity of older model cars such as the 510, it is after all one of the first drift cars with an all independent wish bone suspension, and for a dinky little mobster comes with what I love most, rear wheel drive.......
I love how people have innovated the 510 through out the years for the drive for more power using bigger engines such as the vg30dett, to the small block chevy V8 " 350 corvette that is".
I even love the genius that ripped out the high beam lights and turned them into ram are scoops,"brilliant".
The 510 is what made the 240sx's and the the line up of nissan z's we see today........
It is very important to respect heritage, after all i am nestaligic and my insurance is cheaper that way.....
LOL
