wow damn that sucks they are most probably going to total it just because of the airbags went off. i took out my airbags my dash is more important to me then my safety >.>.

anyway man as long as your safe i know dosnt really mean much when people tell me trust me i know ive lost count to how many 240s ive totalled but in the end if your safe you can always get another car

just if you can try to buy that one back from the insurance and fix it

they said they'll most likely total it... and give me the NADA dealer retail which is around $4150... and said that since my aero and fresh paint might bump it up a bit... so i'm thinking around $4500... i'll just get a new 240... pull the parts off the one i have and put it on the new one...

The damage doesn't look too bad, it's just the airbags are a *****.
If they do total it, buy it back, buy yourself a cheap s13
part out the wrecked car, and build the s13.

Why not fix your car? I know you will have salvage title but you can buy something for it. maybe turbo?

love the music, awesome....

as far as buying it back i think i will, if it's cheap enough... and i have two other cars to drive in the mean time, a 96 tahoe 2dr 4x4 and a 07 mustang GT/CS..

i talked to the adjuster and he said they'll most likely total it due to the age and the airbags... so i think i can buy it back for around $500ish?????

either way, i'll buy it back, my buddy has a S14 parts car with hood, and what not... i can't open the hood right not but it doesn't look like the radiator support is bent at all... i need to pull the wreckage apart to get it right.. a new bumper is cheap enough, and the hood will be damnn near free so no worries, and it also has the dash and steering wheel but in that blue/green color, but easy enough to paint black....

the value they'll pay me is based on NADA dealer retail, which on my car is $4150, he said that due to the fact i have aftermarket aero and what not that it might bring the value up, but it's all on the adjusters view... so i may expect around $4500ish hopefully.... if thats the case, i fix it, have like $3-3500 left over, and KAT that bich.... let see guys, the adjuster comes by the house on monday afternoon, so we'll see what happens then....

a question for any one who may have been here.... if i buy it back, will it be towed? or will he take the cost of the buy back out of the check he's gonna cut me? so if i get $4500, and they charge $500 to buy it back, will he just cut me a check for $4000? and is it a pain in the *** the get a salvage title?? i could care less cause i love my car, and don't/didn't plan on gitting rid of it...

lol.... for real, i was scare ****less.... i went off the offramp at like 65mph, flew over the bank and hit the "EXIT 374 ->" sign... while airborne i think... car came crashing down, i drove it up the bank and back onto the interstate, my ext was the next one down... less than a mile down the road... so i drove the 1.5 miles to my house with the airbag powder, and bag laying in my lap... much fun...

WOW, I dunno bro, I mean, I've seen drift damage before, but if you say so . . .I will honestly feel sorry for you either way.

Well, you have an 07 CS-GT . . .it's 100 times better than an S14 will EVER be, soooo, you can practice your dorifto skillz mad tyt3 jDm in a REAL car with REAL power and torque . . .and tryyyyyyyyy not to beef it around town this time, because Mustangs buck back!

trust me bro... i wasn't drifting, i had already put in my open diff, and i'm still on the tires i used at the drift even, as soon as i hit the brakes, this beast went to sliding immediately, and not a drift, brake lock.......

the GT/CS is not a DD, trying to keep the miles low on it, due to it's limited production numbers and the dealer optioned glassback roof and color combo, it's one of one.... i've only seen one other black GT/CS and that was when i was in orlando, and it didn't have the glass roof... so i'm trying to keep it stock, not beat on it.... 240 is my primary car, and the tahoe is just my knock around truck.... but at least if i buy the 240 back i'll get more seat time in the stang... ugh... miles here we come...
