you guys i hear alot of stuff about silvias but dont know what they are. are they just skylines or what?? thanks, sorry for the noob question.

 

The 240sx coupe is the American version of the Japanese s13 Silvia. The Silvia has several differences, including RHD, engine, and front end. The s14 Silvia is the same as the American 1995-1998 240sx with some changes like RHD and the engine. Skylines are a totally different car.

 

ok i thought that the american 240sx was the japenese 180sx.

 

The Japanese 180sx is the equivalant to the US 240sx fastback

 

^^except the early year 180s came with Ca18s, and later sr20s

that and the silvias have a half frame if you look at your frame you will see where the jdm frame stops theres a extension put in it to meet us dot regulations

i acturally have never seen any of the fast and furiouse movies. i had a ford probe gt 2nd gen for 3 years then it went boom so now i'm trying my hand at a pretty much rwd probe.

 

actually you need to get that straight. a ford butt probe is fords best attempt at making sumthing like a 240. too bad it sucks and they didnt make it rear wheel drive stupid *** dragger car. the two dont even compair.

 

dude lay off, they are both fastbacks with flip ups. I agree with you but i mean there are def similarities
