My car cranks and theres fuel, spark and air going in but it doesnt want to turn on

Will the car start if the distributor timing is off? What else can be my problem? Any help is appreciated, thanx

yup completly bad timing, will not allow the motor to start.

perform tdc on cly number 1 and make sure the rotor button is directly on cly number 1 plug

when i did my chian guides, when i put the dizzy down, i made a mistake and bumped the button, and i didnt relize it, it took me about 3 trys with no light cause it was dark out, to get my car to start.

 

yeh i dont got the light either for the timing but everyone tells me i dont really need it... that write-up seems pretty straight forward n easy... ill try it this weekend when get some time. Thanx for answering

 

i didnt use a timing light at all.
