door adjustment

Is there any way to adjust the door latch besides replacing the latch and the thing it latches to? I cant see any way to adjust it, and whenever it rains hard water comes in. When the door closes i can push it in like a centimeter or two more. I just need it to close tighter.
p.s. i did search already and that didnt do much for me.

Straight from the Chiltons service manual. It's for an S14 but I cant imagine it owuld be different for an S13... You owe me...

1. determine which hinge bolts need to be loosened to move the door in the desired direction.

2. matchmark the hinge to the door as a starting reference.

3. loosen the hinge bolts just enough to permit movement of the door with a padded pry bar but not enough where the door moves on its own.

4. Move the door the distance estimated to obtain the desired fit.

5. tighten the door hinge to body bolts to 15 - 21 ft. lbs.

6. Check the door to ensure that it closes properly and there is no interference or binding with the adjacent panel.

7. check the door lock alignment for proper door closing, and adjust as necessary.

Thanks, but would that do anything to make the door close tighter? It lines up perfectly as it is right now.
