drive shaft

drive shaft

i jus did a swap and someone told me i didn't need to get a new drive shaft for my sr....but when i tried putting it in today it wouldn't go in all the way..should i force it or do i need a new drive shaft? i have a s14 but i had a s13 tranny in it....

you should get a new drive shaft. you don't HAVE to, but it's better if you do.

um as long as you have a normal 5 speed drive shaft it will work. it may be that the transmission may have a little rust on it since its journey from japan to you so just put some lube on the shaft and work it in slowly.
