Dumpster Diving!!
Dumpster Diving!!
*CRASH* ----------> junkyard
I was thinking...
From time to time, some of us might find ourselves in need of parts that just can't be ordered - or perhaps are too expensive.
So, I wanted to start a thread on junkyards - find it, cut it, buy it - it's yours - those sorts of places. What are the best junkyards you've been too? I'm thinking the main factor here in ranking junkyards would be the hassle factor - I.e. you get what you find with minimal hassle - but I'm open to other opinions as to what makes for a great junkyard for you.
I'm hoping that this thread will reveal some great So.Cal junkyards (I'm in L.A.), but let's hear from peeps all over - post your favorite "out-of-channel" place to locate parts and why you like it. What's the best place, where you are, to look for used parts?

I read dumpster diving and got flash backs to breaking into Pacbell dumpsters and trucks looking for cool stuff back in the day. I really need to get back into that I think... Oh yeah, umm... that was kinda off topic.
