Bought a Radar Detector just to find out that my cig lighter doesnt work! I know that 240s have had this problem, what have you guys done to fix yours? Checked fuses and wiring, and still no fix!

I had the exact same problem, both the wiring and fuse were fine. So on the suggestion of my brother I took out the cigarette lighter, disassembled it, washed out with soap in my sink, and now it works fine.

 

mine doesnt work either! I'm gunna try to give it a lil bath as well

 

just hard-wire the sucker in and mount it above the rearview mirror (so cops don't see it)
