Ever had to drive ur 240 without a clutch??
Well i did, im glad that was a trick i decided to learn, it saved my assss.
I went to work last night and as i got on site my clutch pedal went to the floor and lost all pressure ( second time it happen in a month) Signs of a faulty slave cylinder.
So this morning when i got off of work, i had to cut the car off to put it in gear and then i was able to shift flawlessly without a clutch even downshifted a few times without grinding.
the annoying part was, i had to cut the car off at every light untill i got on to I-95.
Ill be at the junk yard getting a new/used slave cylinder and clutch bleeder.

I meant that i would totoally skip second for the street, but on the highway go to fifth. Thats what i did when i had my accord with a bad ignition switch. I had to hold it between on and start and switch gears at the same time.

i had a mysterious clutch problem that put me in that situation, Although if I pumped the clutch pedal i could make enough pressure to actually put it in first, but all my other shifts were clutchless. i think i drove like that for about 2 weeks before i replaced my master and slave cylinders. I think it made me a better driver because now I know exactly how many rpm there are between gears. Down shifting was a bit tricky but after the first couple days of driving like that i had it just about mastered it.

update,
it was not the slave cylinder, the clutch is gone. to much drifting on a 89 dollar exdey clutch. I changed the entire clutch hydrualic system, and every thing was fine after bleeding the system and starting the car, the clutch pedal went back to the floor. Luckly i have an act 6 puck and another oem clutch in my backyard, from old motors i had

Run your revs up to at least 3k. Then pull the stick out of gear, and push it into the next one. Not force, just push...as the rpm drops it will fall into place. On the downshift u just need to step on gas to get revs up, and same thing, just push it in and it will go when the revs match. It's easy.

If you pull it out of gear at 2k it'll slide right into the nex gear in one motion. i experimented a week ago. Also my legend's slave cylinder froze on the coldestday of the yr 2 yrs ago and i had to try it for the 1st time and had to figure it out. got to the shop OK.
