can anyone upload some exhaust sound clips with an Apexi N1 catback and/or an HKS catback exhaust? I want to hear how they sound, because my custom 2.25 inch custom piping with a universal muffler is not loud enough for me. Also would buying an Apexi or HKS universal muffler be just as effective as a Aftermarket factory catback? Because I already have the custom piping.

 

I don't think it would be as effective due to the fact that you only have 2.25" piping. Most catback's from those companies have 2.5"-3" piping I believe. So the sound would be different, and you wouldn't have the same HP gain if you just slapped a muffler on.

 

i dont have a clip but i can tell you what mine sounds like i have a n1 with a resanated test pipe
ok this is what you do go to your local air port and stand out on the run way and wait for a plaine to go by and that is how loud my car is.

after I installed my exhaust and drove away from my house, my girlfriend called and was like "Jesus Christ, your car sounds liike a f""king airplane"... that's awesome.

 

I would try to get the Apexi RS-Series Muffler sounds and looks good

yo i just put in a blitz nur spec-r exhaust on my 95 240sx (ka24de) it is loud but sounds fierce, check it out

it bolted right on the factory exhaust system it crackles when reducing to about 45 mph i felt proble a 5+hp increase @ 25,ooo rpms with an intake, ill on the highway makes people swerv and scared when u drive buy goin about 90mph. it has a nice tuned tone when the silencer is in. worth the money
can't wait to get a turbo!
