Exposing the competition

My friend Mr. ROA dyno tuned his Honda Prelude yesterday. Just with VAFC, header CATBACK exhaust on his H22a he pulled some pretty impressive numbers, without a cold air intake system just filter. Only one hour of VAFC tuning just shows how much change in the air to fuel ratio it makes more power. From about the 152HP at the wheels this car can make stock, he brought HP output to a total of 167HP at the wheels.
Just thought you guys might want to see what you run up against in the 1/4 mile.

Yeah it definitely doesn't pull power like our KA24de's, but the acception not the rule is that honda gear ratio's are built for high end speed. Going head to head against my friend we run pretty close to the same 1/4mile times if you don't include reaction times.
I shift at 6500 RPM, he shifts at 7200 RPM.

so what mods were done on your car? i have a friend with an h22 in his honda and we too ran side by side for a good distance but i edged away at about 75mph.
this was done on the highway mind you so i don't have any slips to show hp or trq curves. but my car was fairly stock at the time and so was his.
just curious
