Cool Extended Absence

Hey Everyone,

I've missed bein on here, but I wanted to let you know I'll be back. I am living in Jamaica now and will be for the next 2 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer. It's a pretty nice place, but I haven't seen any Silvias yet. Saw a Skyline my first day though, so I can't complain..... Think it was an R33. Also plenty of Sunny's, but no Silvias or 180s!

My baby is stored back in the US. Gave her a good wash, wax and polish so hopefully she'll make it! I'll give more details when I can, but I just wanted to give an update!

Hey guys,

Yea, Jamaica is cool. I did see an s13 the other day, but it was just a lhd 240. bahhhhhhh..... Seen a few more skylines though.

Anyways, I've seen a few races and rally's in the paper so I just gotta get to one of them sometime. I miss AutoX!!!!!

I hope I stored my baby properly! I washed and waxed it good, coated the entire tire in tirewet, put it up on jack stands, filled the gas tank and added seafoam, put DeepCreep down the spark plug holes and the vaccum line and changed the oil and coolant the same day. Also took out the battery and removed the plates to discourage theft. Couldn't find any of the crystals to absorb moisture for the inside.... It's under some cover, but it will still get wet. I didn't have the money for a good car cover, and I was worried about it doing more harm than good when the wind kicks up.

Hopefully I can be back here sometime soon. I'm gonna be at a school working/teaching and they have internet..... Have fun and be safe!
