Feature - Project Time Attack: Introduction

Update:
The next several articles will be coming out rapidly over the next few weeks as we finish the build.
The car has been moved to XAT Racing in Tampa, FL where we are going to finish up the build before going to testing at Roebling Road. Assuming we can get the vehicle finished to our satisfaction, It will debut at GTLive VIR in October with professional Grand Am Rolex driver Leh Keen. I will also start a thread about the event in the motorsports section.

We are going to put the name of the site where is says Unisia Jecs and in the same font/color. We are also going to put some of the key sponsors in the same positions and the sponsors on this car to keep it as close to this scheme as possible

Me and my brother should be there, so I hope to see the car there. If you see a Black 86 325e with a "Der Panzer" Eurotag or a crappy Integra with the shocker on it, that should be us. Good luck and hope you finish it in time.
BTW, scheme looks awesome, can't wait to see it in all it's glory.

More updates:
Several articles are in the works for the various parts of the build. The engine is being built at AMS, the head is being built as we speak, and I am picking up the Alumacore sheet to make the splitter and diffuser tomorrow. It is going to be a mad dash to get this car ready in time for testing the weekend of sept 29th. It is almost certain we will npot be able to have the paint scheme ready by GTLive, although we still hope to have the car ready

Quick update. I will be adding some new parts to the parts article and in the next week I will be putting up a few new articles.
On another note, it looks like our planned race debut at VIR is not going to happen. Both our driver and some critical parts jsut wont be available to us by then. We are still going to try and have it together for display, but race is a no go. Very disappointing, but i would rather not race than have a compromised car with a less experienced driver. We will race it as soon after this as possible.
