First Wins!

Well, here is the story.

I am cruising around and I happen to find a meet behind a pizza place by me. There were lots of honda's and grand am's (yeah...i know). Well, I pulled in and just checked some stuff out and everyone came to my car to check her out. No I don't have much done to it but no one around here has a 240sx. Well, we headed out to airport road, middle of nowhere and long. I was paired up to race a integra, it was really slow, civic SI, and a grand am. Well, luckly I beat the integra by about 1 1/2 car lengths. The civic messed up and missed a gear first race so I was kind and re-raced him. Beat him by about a bumber. And the Grand Am....well...3 car lengths haha. Well, I'm just excited and wanted to tell someone.
american rice = &

Well, congrats on your first win! You sound excited. guess I would be too, but I've never raced anyone. No point with mine being basically stock. Just keep it safe and

Not to sound corny or nothing, safety is my biggest concern, that is partially why I don't let people ride with me when I race other people, and I don't want to be responsible for anyones life exept my own.

Oh, and I only have a apexI full cat, inject intake, and DGK v sparkplugs.

i gotta funny race story. i was on my way home from work and i pull up behind a jetta, and next to the jetta is a cavalier with a kit and exhaust ... anyway, the light turns green and the jetta and i jus go flyin by this cav. he must have felt soo stupid being beat by me, the car he wasnt even racing. i did stay on the *** of the jetta but couldnt pull ahead. im a nissan kind-a-guy but VW does have some nice cars. if i couldnt have a nissan i would definately take a GTI

If I'm not mistaken, may be wrong, I think he ment in the middle of a neighborhood. The place we go to is 2 miles out of town and no one is every there that I've seen.

The 240 is not a drag car. The 240 has a truck motor.

Nuff said.

Doesn't mean you can't have a fun time racing some rice!

And doesn't mean a sr20 can't make it a dragster.

So what if the 240 isn't a drag car, you can still have fun. And if you beat another car, then you beat them!

And yea, keep it on the track as a rule! Not saying I would never break that rule, but it's still unsafe... random drunk driver, swerve for an animal, etc..... Ok, gettin preachy, so time to go.

Hence the low end torque which is GOOD for drag... and the rear wheel drive which is GOOD for drag... You know nissans mini vans with the 3.0 use the same block as the 300zx? Does that make the 300zx have a minivan motor? nope.........
