I just recently got my 240sx. I have been wanting one 4 as long as i can remember. I got it like 2-3 weeks ago and i got it dirt cheap ($100 ) when i bought the car i knew it didnt start but it cranks over. The day i got it i tried to turn it on but it wouldnt and then i smelt gas in the car!! I got out and opened the hood and the smell was even stronger there so i started lookin at the fuel pump and injectors the pump is good and so are the hoses but i think the injectors are messed up.I got my friend to look at the injectors as i crank it and he said that the injectors are lettin the gas out instead of into the engine so i knew i had 2 replace them. I checked everywhere for cheap prices the cheapest i found was $96 each and thats too much for me so i went to te junkyard hoping there was a 240 in there.I found 2 but the engines were gone!! so i started lookin around and found sum nissan that looked like a 1st gen Supra and i never seen this car b4 and im a big nissan enthusiast but the engine ive seen b4 it had a CA20 in it and it looks exactly like a ka20e(my engine) so i took the injectors out of that.I would of grabbed the fuel rail but it was smaller than my stock one. My question now is that will the injectors work? and what car did i get them out of? cus i wanna know which car is gonna help start my baby up thanx in advance.

 

You do know that there are $2 injector bushing that you can replace.
Plus there are o-rings in the fuel rail that you can replace also. Both are avail from the dealership. You can replace a 4 injector bushings & o-rings for under $20.

 

Yea, try replacing the Bushing and O rings first. If that doesnt work, then its the injectors themselves like mine were.

 

ok thanx imma try that i was gonna replace the o rings but i got the injectors 4 free so its nuttin 2 me lol
