I keep coming across '98 G20's in the local wrecking yard and I was wondering who knows if I can build this engine like a JDM SR... I mean as far as what I can build out of it. Of course I don't mean in the sense that yes any motor can be boosted, rather what will I need, I.e. Ecu, harness, injectors, tb, maf? Anyone? These babies are going for $200 with all the accessories and all the b.s. That stays hooked to it....I digress. Can it be done?

well anything is good with time and the right parts.... its NA so the compressions is higher than the turbo version of the engine. you will have to deal with that by lowering the compression and or keeping your boost down.

Its not a coil pack system as you know. I drifted an NA SR here and was shocked with the stock power... plenty enough to drift with no modifications.

anything can be boosted.. ... you will need all the upgrades that you would do to any non turbo injen.
