Gas Mileage

With the rising gas prices, especially in California, I would like to know the numbers on each of the engine builds whens it comes to Miles per Gallon based on your experiences..

175HP KA24DE (N/A Tuned)
250HP 8PSI KA24DE-T
230HP SR20DET RedTop

What I know for sure is that the MPG numbers should be lower than a stock KA24DE's, which is 27 HWY / 22 CITY.

i get about 25 on stock s14. that's mostly city, come highway, regular gas (the cheap stuff....used to get premium until prices went up!)

i have gotten about 31 when it was all highway and i was driving prolly about 60mph, but usually i drive 75-90 on the highway so yeah. i think it's good mileage.

if you're worried about mileage in a RB25DET, then you probably should think about getting an SR.. jk i'd say about 20-21 mpg city

Yeah...I was wonder as well since you have to consider gas may go up to $3 a gallon by the end of the year, especially if you use 91+ octane.

yeah ok i was just joking like i said...all the stations in irvine charge you an arm and a leg just for regular 87.

In OC, i usually go to one in westminster. Although, I just filled up at 2.49 for 89. =(

Does anyone know if a rb25 will fit a 85 nissan 200sx? So far it's a stock ca20 with about 185whp.

If you're worried about gas mileage, go CA18DE(T). Catharsis will so go for this idea, lol.

wait.... it's supposed to be 22/27 for a stock KA? Wtf is up with my KA then... haha... I get 24-26 city... I do mostly city driving and haven't gotten a nice highway run in yet, but my best was 28. I'm getting a nice 3 hour highway run in tommorow and I'll let u know what I get! I like my milage.... then again my KA has 50k, and it was all dealer maintained by the previous owner, the engine is mint!

note: this is also on 93 octane, from various diff gas stations, basically whatever is closer to me when I'm low on gas... lol
