got on the dyno yesterday

I finally got the car runnin good, so I rolled it up to my buddies shop yesterday. I turned the boost controller all the way down (min boost is 15 psi) I was only on 89 octane and wasnt sure what the a/r was, so the lower the boost the safer. Anywany we made a pull on 15 psi and it made 425hp and 335tq. I was very happy, I ended up not turning up the boost because the low octane gas. I dont want to risk it. So now Im draining the fuel and Im gonna run 110 octane and go back. It was a good day.

Before anyone asks its the red s13/r32 with the single turbo rb26.

Nice!

how much boost are you planning on running with 110 gas?

89 is LOW octane, i think, for 15 lbs of boost, don't you think?
Any turbo car should run at least 91 preferably 93.

89 is definatly too low. Its just what was in the tank from a while ago. It had about 1/2 tank. I put a couple gallons of 93 I had in the garage in it before hand. I never run below 93. But not sure on boost levels on race gas.

Damn, that thing is going to be a monster with 110 octane. Why would you run 89 through it and chance having it knock??

**** dude, my bad. I actually was running 91, and I added a couple gallons of 93 in it. But I really wasnt expecting to make that kind of power, it suprized me. I was just trying to get a safe tune on low boost until I got some things situated. The bov was also leaking like crazy the whole time. But hopefully some higher numbers to come real soon.

My buddy is hosting a dyno day on the 5th (next sunday) I am already on the list to make a few pulls. I have the safc all wired up and ready to go. Im gonna get some 110 tomaro and start street tuning. Im hoping to get it in tune on like 21psi. Im not sure what is too much on a stock bottom end. Its a t67 turbo. The bottom end is all stock, head has hks step 1 cams. I will be able to manage a/f ratio with my wideband. So about what would be too much boost?

This isnt the official video, there will be a much nicer one soon. But this is just a few of the cars. They dyno'ed 26 cars that day. I made the highest power, besides a full drag s-10 with a 388 strocker and a 250 shot.
