Greddy Exhaust

Whudup all.....I'm sportin' a Greddy PE Cat-Back Exhaust right now and I don't know why I'm not getting the deep, loud sound out of the exhaust. I've heard that they provide great sound and performance. I still have my stock engine in my '95 240. No intake, nothing. I'm guessing it's because I'm not running any type of cold air intake. Speaking of which, how are the Injen cold air intakes for my 240? I'm thinkin' of gettin' 1.

Injen intakes are great, a lil expensive but they are good.

Have you heard the exhaust on another 240 with a KA before?

Then maybe thats the way its suppose to sound? You can try running a test pipe..could make it louder and a more of a growl. But then it wont pass smog..

the intake will not make a huge difference on your exhaust. Is your exhaust new? Because in my s13 it took a month or two before my exhaust got loud enough to hear it. Even when you rev it it's not loud? or it isn't as loud as the CRX's with thier exhausts that sound like bombs going off, lol.

yeah...it's fairly new. It's been about a month and a half since I installed it. When I rev my engine...seems like my engine puts out more sound than my exhaust does, which I thought was kinda weird, considering that everything under the hood is stock. No aftermarket intake, no headers, nothing. Also, I was talking to some dude at a body shop and he told me that I have to be careful when replacing my factory intake with an aftermarket one. I am gonna be slappin' in an Injen cold air intake next week. He says I might need a computer upgrade. Not to familiar with what to do....help me out.
