Hey dueds, could you please explain or show me a picture of how to pull the A/C console out? I need to fix my console because the right side of it is loose and it moves back and forth. TY!

Remove the shifter bezel. Remove HVAC bezel. Remove 4 retaining screws for the HVAC controller.

Would you guys mind explaining how to remove the shifter bezel? Also, what is a good FSM to buy? Like which brand, etc. Sorry for asking so many questions I really need to get an FSM.

Are you trying to pull out the HVAC unit or the whole console? As for FSM, you can get an online version for free. Go to this link and pick the one for your car and motor.... http://www.camel-towing.com/

The part that has the hazard lights on the bottom, A/C controls above that, and then the 2 vents above that. What does HVAC stand for?

Thank You for the FSM link- I downloaded Adobe Reader and got my saved FSM to work.

Heat/Vaccum/Air Conditioning

Sorry, it was very late at night when I made my last post, but you don't have to take off the shifter bezel. The HVAC bezel just pulls off. You are talking about a 95+ car right? S13, idk.

Yeah, a 95 s14, how exactly does the unit come off? The FSM shows a hand pulling it up from the bottom. I'm afraid of breaking the plastic. How exactly do you take it off?

You're welcome for the FSM link, they are something good to have around. Do it how the FSM shows in that picture. Pull mostly where it shows the thumbs in that picture since I believe that is where the harder to get clips are, towards the bottom. Once you get that off, there will be 2 or 3 harnesses you have to unplug, depending on if you have a factory alarm. After that, there will be 4 screws that hold the HVAC unit into the dash.
