Heat shield
is it okay to get rid of the exhaust manifold heat shield? its torn nearly in half and the rattle is upsetting the neigborhood.

I've been rocking without mine for some time now and no problems, but it is handy for hiding a cut EGR when inspection time comes around...

tear it apart. Mine rattled like a tin can. The guys my dad worked with laughed at my car when i pulled it in to change the oil..

we don't have inspections around here, i just needed to know if it might overheat the steering shaft or steering box

what do i do about the sensor wire bracket and some fluid line bracket that are attached to the shield?
