Help~!

I am trying to get a 240 but I guess I need to sell off my 190 hp commute car. Any idea to sell it fast without losing a lot ( like selling to dealer)?

Depending on the condition of the car the dealer and other places like Carmax wont give you crap for it. It will be like 25% below its realy value. If you want lose the the least on selling try places like autotrader.com and their magazine.

How do you have 190HP? I thought the non-turbo Supras are 220HP and turbo'd are 320HP?

Thanks all, I am going to check the CArmax and the auto trader for more detail.

PSM,
I am selling my commute car and not my Supra. It is another car. 97' V-Tec Prelude (100% stock).

I bought it because I planned to share with my gf (who doesn't know how to drive manual). And now, I am sick of driving automatic and I carpool to work. So,... that's too much extra. I would rather to spend it on a fun FR like 240SX.

I tried to sell it on Yahoo. But, not great result. People checked it out and said want to buy it but they didn't show up with $. A person offered me almost $3k less than my asking price ( claimed that he only had that much to spend). A guy suspected me to race on the car (what the hel..? He doesn't believe the car is 100% stock). Another guy complained the car is totally stock. ...... I am getting sick of these ppl. (just to check out and not serious in the purchase). I felt that buying this car is a mistake because nobody really appreicate this car. (ok, one good thing, save me lots of gas ).

By looking at your sig I was like what kind of BPU mods is he doing?

Yeah try Carmax..I have mixed reviews with them, personally and from friends.

You'll probably have better luck with Autotrader and local newspaper.

I am asking for ~$10,799 now. But, I guess I will sell it a bit cheaper if it can be sold in 2 weeks( My insurance and the next payment is coming ~2wks). If I can sell it b4 the due days, price can be adjusted a bit.

I had it purely for commute purpose.
