Help!

okay, I am feeling pretty dumb asking this question but it seems sometimes when I start my 240sx this clicking noise is going on in the dash and seems not to go away and it just goes off on its own even when Im driving. I popped the hood to look where it possibly be coming from and a load clicking noise was coming from the fusebox, and when this clicking noise happens, the car will be running, keys will be in ACC, or the keys will not be in it at all, but the brake lights flash as well as the parking lights, any suggestions?

And dude, whats the deal with the red blinking nissan light?

What the controller box was making the noise or was there a loose connection?

I am sorry I could not help you but I could not think of anything clicking under the dash.

OK, i took out the brain unit and everything already... all the wires are taken out, but there still is a ticking coming from where the "brain" used to be. Any ideas?

I know that at work when there is clicking it is a relay trying to make up. You might want to take a look into the circuit where the alarm was installed. You might have lifted a contact that is not being made and is causing the relay to fall out.

Unhappy Weird clicking noise

I discovered this a couple days ago and its gettin on my nerves now!

Whenever I made a right turn last nite, there was this fast clicking noise. My first diagnosis was the axle. I was like ok, i'll get ready to put on a new axle.

So when i get back home last nite, im getting read to pull the car in the garage so, i turn the wheel to the right(without moving, and it starts again. I'm like wtf?!?!

Does it need to be moving to be the axles?

Could it be the power steering pump or something?

I'm also leaking transmission fluid

Damn this car

had the same problem

yeah dude i had the same problem in my 86 grand national. some genius disconnected the alarms siren so when it would go off you would just hear a clicking inside. so i yanked out all the "non-factory" wiring. .

ironicly enough 2 weeks later it got stolen (hence why now im looking into an sr20det 240sx)

oh yeah that reminds me. is there anything emmisions wise that the sr20 has issues with? like how hard is it to pass emmisions? also does the engine/tranny require any drive shaft mods to get it into an s13? oh and one last thing i need info on how to fab intercooler piping as its much cheaper to buy a spearco one from my local speedshop and do the piping my self. rather than buying a kit. any help is greatly appreciated.
