I just bought a pair of recaro seats from this guy online! he claims he have no pictures of the seats and told me he would garrentee they are BRAND NEW, and he put that down on paypal as well, so i bought the seats, but when it arrived, i realize that its a KNOCK OFF!!! i bought them for 800$!!! i dont know what to do! i e-mail him and told him he sold me knock-off's and he said "i never said they were authentic in the first place! i have never mentioned anywhere on my post that they are authentic, it is your responsibility to ask 1st, i said they are brand new, and they are, so my part is done"

i dont know what i can do now. do you guys have any advice? can i call the cops on him?? can i sue him?? can i do anything to get my money back?

 

post what he wrote so we can take a look at what he said.

You bought something witout seeing it. I'm sure th eauction said "AS IS" & also "Recaro STYLE"

Give us the link to the auction.
As for sueing him...Not going to happen, unless he stated that THEY ARE REAL & AUTHENTIC Recaro seats.
Calling the cops on him, will do nothing. He didnt commit a crime. He was selling seats WITHOUT pictuers & you bought them. You got suckered.

sorry i cant find the post anymore.. but he basically said brand new Recaro seats for sell or something, and all he told me was that it is red and is brand new, he didnt mention whether it was authentic or not, and on paypal when i payed, he didnt mention whether it was authetic or not as well, he only said it is a payment for a pair or recaro seats. he live in Toronto... and i live in cali... i dont know what to do at all

yeah man what he said^^^ ebay is a great place to buy things, i use to sell car parts on there all the time. make sure you look at things alittle better next time. sorry it had to be a high $$$ mistake and not a cheap one.
