hi guys

hey guys my name is ricky incase u guys didnt meet me in the new members area. well my brother gave me his 90 240sx and it has a rb20det swap. i was wondering how hard is it to drop the rb25det? since my brother has the rb25det sitting waiting to be dropped in the 240 he gave me. and is a sr20det stronger than a rb25det? if so by how much horse and torque? and is there a rb25dett?

Im not an expert on either one of those engines. But I would definitely say that the RB is probably more powerful. But I do know that the RB25 would blow them both out of the water.

wow dude, GAVE it to you? Thats awesome.

RB makes more power, that goes without saying b/c it has .5 liters more than the SR.
I'd keep the RB25det, its JDM tyte, everyone uses the SR.
Not sure how much the swap is.

You could prolly go TT, they don't "make one". I would just boost higher power, no need for TT unless your pushing some serious power. and RB25DET should be sufficient

hey off topic, but I noticed that you're from sac. There's a meet this saturday up there seen HERE. Those guys can probably help you out with your questions and even with the swap later on whenever you decide to do it. Just hang out and chill at the meet. But I don't think I'll be there, I might be at another meet in San Francisco. Seen HERE

Really man, it's guys like you with such retarded questions like this that give club 240 a bad name, I am going to have to start acting like the hard asses at Zilvia. You dweebs don't get it.

i agree, not that i'm equal in knowledge to you or raine... but i wish people would search more.

I cant believe he just gave you that car man... the rb20 can make at lot of power, and the rb25 has potential too. But just because there's an rb20 in there already doesnt mean swapping a rb25 is gonna be easy
