Hi, I'm new.

Currently I drive a 1999 Acura Integra LS, which I did have plans of boosting. However, my friend just finished the swap of a 98 blacktop into his 91 240sx and to say the least, my Integra, while newer, and better looking (IMO) is becoming dull to me. Just the FWD blues I guess. I'm not sure if any of you have been to or are registered at www.team-integra.net or www.newcelica.org, those are my current homes.

Anyhow, I'm wanting to buy a newer 240sx, like a 95-96, or 97-98 for the awesome looking headlights. My question is this. Do the 97+ models have anything over the same generation 240's minus the headlights? The reason I ask is I plan to do a s15 conversion right off the bat because I absolutely love the s15's in Japan, its a real shame the United States didn't get the car.

Are there engine specs altered over the last generation? Is there any reason why I should get a 97+ if I plan on replacing the entire front end?

Thanks for all the info. Also, are there any other 240 related websites to check into? (I know about www.240sxforums.com)

Heres some pictures of my car if anyones interested.

Just the tail lights.

They didn't change anything mechanically only the lights and IMO get the '95-'96 because it'll be cheaper and you can leave the '97-'98 to the people who really like that front end.

If your gonna do an s15 conversion it doesn't matter which s14 you get they are all mechanically the same. And the chasis is the exact same in the s13 too. I rather like the s15 front facia conversion on an s13. Nice to see a FWDer come over to the dark...er.. good side.
