i believe HICAS is when the rear wheels turn at medium and high speed turns. from what ive heard, it wasnt good in the s13s

hicas is where the wheels turn the same direction as the front at low speeds and opposite at higher speeds. annoying for drifting... you can still drift with it.. but it wants to correct to soon in my experience.

its not really good for anything but parking.

The Z31 and the GT-R variants of the R33 and R34 also came aquiped with this.

most tuners disable this system for most motorsports including drifting and time attack.

Nah man, the Z31 never came with it, but the Z32 did.

the only thing 4 wheel steering is necessary in is monster trucks.....buy one of them, you'll be set

its not like a "cool" thing either.....i mean, people wont come up to an s13...and the first thing they ask is "damn man...that thing got hicas?"

o i thought it was pretty cool and also the fact that u can turn it on and off makes it better. i wouldnt mind having it in my car if i could turn it off when i want to. rear wheels turning is pretty cool to me even if it is ony like 1 degree.
