ok so i got a ticket for my exhaust being too loud, so i put the silencer back in. before i did it idled at around 800, pretty normal. but now its idling at lyk 1500-1600. could i be coincidence that my maf started sending a bad signal as soon as i put the silencer in? or do silencers really do this? it bothers me a litte but i can live with it. only wondering?

 

Damn man that sounds kinda weird, I would think it might change a little maybe cuz the backpressure of the silencer being on vs. the big opening when its unsilenced but I dunno about it idling that high,

I think someone who would have a good answer to this would be Big Vinnie...
