how do i know if i have power locks? ( i know sounds stupid look inside)

well i have a 1989 240sx xe coupe i have all the goodies but i dno if i have power locks. explination the car was my cuzins and it was hit by a drunk driver. trashed the drivers side door and quarter panel thats all in the the works of being fixed now. (clean title by the way) and its got a new engine and trans in it only two months of drinving on it before it got wrecked and i only paid 500 for the car and 650 for it to be ready for paint and then 100 for it to get painted pretty good deal if you ask me. anyways im ordering an alarm with the keyless option and i dno if have power locks or not the drivers side door doesnt work at all at this point and i dont remember if it had them but i think it did.

my question is if my car had power locks would there be a switch for it or does it just work like if you regularly would lock the door does it lock/unlock the doors? cuz i know mine doesnt have a switch so yea.
thanx in advance.
Josh

sorry for rambling

mine has PL...but there is no switch or buttons for it...
locks the passenger's if you lock the driver's...i always use my remote on alarm anyways...
you can open up the door panel and see if there is a motor for it...
or you should have a fuse for PL...

240's are weird like that, there is no switch. I'm pretty sure they are all power locks. If you're on the drivers side, if you lock it then the passenger door should lock as well, thats how all s13's i've ever seen have worked.
