Yes, ABS is a factory option, if you have that, then you have LSD. Also, you can jack up the rear of the vehicle, and spin one wheel with your hand. If the other wheel spins along with it...then yes, you have LSD.

Edit: ABS works when you slam on the brakes really hard, you'll be able to feel it then. It allows you to control the car while under heavy breaking. If you didn't have ABS, the wheels would just lock up, and you'd lose steering capability, which is why you have to pump the brakes if you don't have it.

nice,, thnx

but my breaks never lock and or pulsate , I tried to slam on my brakes but the car stops with out need of the ABS. I had ABS in a differnt car you feel brake pulsations, I don't feel abs, and I've tried never been able to lock them up. Car stops good however

I have an SE. Does this mean I have ABS and LSD?

...quite surprisingly, the answer is no.

ABS is a factory option. If you get this option, then you also get LSD as an added bonus!

Unfortunately there ARE some people out there who do NOT get this option when buying their car.

So no, just because it's an SE, doesn't mean it has LSD or ABS.

My 89 SE has no ABS. I kind of like it that way, actually... it seems like it forces me to be more attentive and become more familiar with the car.

Ah, that would probably explain it. But you're right though, if you have ABS, then you have LSD.

Kinda sucks that you can't have one without the other as a factory option though.

I dunno... it sucks that if you have an LSD in the 91-94 or whatever, you have to have super hicas... although I really like it... I don't know why people complain about it being harder to drift.. because I have no problems.. oh well, I guess drifting must be a lot easier than I thought...I haven't been to a track yet though, just parking lots with road cones.
