How do you set up a group buy?

Wondering if anybody here has had any experience setting up a group buy? How does one go about it? I'd like to set one up for 5 lug hubs if possible... the sticky on group buys didn't say much.

Well do you run a business?

It is pretty simple if you don't. Find 4 people that want the same thing.

Go to business X and say give us 5 sets for cheaper we are ready to run baby.

Done.

5 is a small number though..........

***edit Sorry a little tired just got back from our meet***

Just take the 5s and make them lets say 30. Then you roll up and shop your parts out for 30 people instead of good ol you.

All you need is 1 guy in the group that carries a credit card with a good spending limit. Then you get your friends, or people in your affiliated group that need that same product. Order it in bulk and you are good to go. For a guy like me I can be a sole provider, buy in bulk, and watch the cash come in. Put it like this it's better and easier than slangin' Charlie.

dude, did you even read the thread topic? or any of the replies? Not trying to be an ***, but your answers are in the posts above. I'm just trying to find some info about how one might set up a group buy for five lug hubs... I'll try to contact Nismo and Brembo and see how small of an order would qualify for a group buy.

Honestly the 5 lug wont sell well in bulk. Alot of guys like myself are going the cheap alternative route, and am purchasing the z32 caliper kit for 4 lug. I don't want to waste my time and expenses on the 5 lug conversion. Plus the rims I have are spaced far enough to fit the calipers. Honestly you should call PDM and buy bulk caliper kits from them.

call it vanity if you want. I know $500 or so is a lot to drop on something as stupid as 5 lug hubs, especially when that money could go towards something much more useful like cams. I'm just trying to build up my car as complete as possible bit by bit, and rims in 5 lug pattern are much more accessible than the 4 lug ones.

There are also guys like me that have done 5 lug on a couple chassis and just keep doing it.

I have to do one on a base s14 now.

I was also wondering if you guys would like to talk with Gabriel Tyler of the 4ag forums he makes this sick AGX/Coilover with any combination spring rate. I thought it was sick cause I actually enjoy the short stroke dampening of the AGX, and yes he makes them fully adjustable. he said he would only make them as special request orders, (I am assuming in BULK)

I'd be interested in PEAK Performance 5 lug hubs for a good price. Look into those, please.
