Last June!

You saw the car last June huh. Do you happen to remember how much it was going for? I was going to go down there to take it for a spin on Monday. Is there anything in particular I should look? And what would I possibly getting into, maintainance/repairs wise? Im guessing Its a KA24 to right? Thanks for the guys.

Yeah it's a KA, at least thats what the ad says. It's a ricemobile on the outside, but the inside looks serious enough. It's hard to put a price on it because it doesnt list what's under the hood. It does have an e-manage or something though.

What should I be looking for under the hood modification performance and wear/tear wise? Also, any kind of indicators of a deficient engine?

What kind of mechanical ability do you have? I would say stay away from that car if you don't have any.

I have some Mechanical ability. Just not to much Electronically. Did some work on previous cars like body work, suspension, oil pan, ect. Just not the engine internals or Tuning experience. I know a few people who do though. Im gonna go down there Tomorrow and take a closer look at it. Are the SR's a reliable engine? My offer will be$7000, $8000 max or Im leavin. Thanks for the input guys.

If I painted my car yellow (excluding some carbon doorskins), drilled holes in the bumper, did some doodles on the quarterpanel, and stripped the interior I would have a race car too!

I'd say it's worth like 7, Their description says KA and it isn't.

If you don't have to ability to rebuild an engine I wouldn't even bother with that car.
