how much for s13?

Just trying to get a feel for the market, looking at a 93 240 fastback w/ 108k, no engine probs, no exterior probs, 5spd, blk/grey.

He is asking 3k. Good price? how much does a nice s13 go for now?

man i bought my 89 SE for 2100 and honestly i wouldnt mind paying an extra 8 for a 92 with dohc...my motor only had 103 when ibought it ..and had quarter panel damage which i find to be very common for some reason(people trying to drift and end up hugging the wall)..but yea i like the black exterior on 240's, its not as common as champagne or grey or whatever..but aslong as the engine is clean..shouldnt even matter..goodluck to yah if u decide to buy

haha good advice, thats probably what i will end up doing!

Forgot to ask the guy if it was an SE or not, but based on what he told me(power everything), that makes it an SE right? According to the factory spec sheet, only the SE model had power windows/locks. So i guess that makes it even better

im so gonna buy it, and if someone buys it out from under me, like the last 3 times, im gonna be 3x more pissed.

Wow today has been quite a rollercoaster for me.

(4:00) I talked it over with my dad, and he said it sounded good , and for me to call the guy and set up a time for me to go check it out.

(4:30) Call the guy up, I could tell by the tone in his voice that he wasnt going to say something i was going to want to hear. Sure enough, some guy was coming tonight, with cash in hand, to buy the car. He made sure to tell me that the guy was VERY excited about the car, buuut if anything should fall through, he would call me. now im bummed, this was almost perfect

(10:00) Im cruising around car dealerships with a friend in his s14, my phone rings. Its the guy with the s13 He proceeds to tell me that when the guy got there, he offered him a very low price(even though he said he would pay full), and started jerking him around. NO SALE

So now I am going tomorrow morning(with a deposit), to check out the car. Assuming everything the guy said is true, it is mine. Come tuesday I will hit the bank and drive back down there to pick it up!!! im excited!

anything special I should look for while im there? Not sure what the common problems are with s13s.

I bought it!

Drove up there and it was everything I thought it could be Very clean, exterior has a couple minor problems, typical of a 11 year old car. Might need a valve adjustment.

Drove it, ran great. Suspension was nice, brakes were nice, pickup was pretty good, although I do miss the torque from my bmw and now for what you guys want to see, pictures:

needless to say, I gave him a deposit for it, and will go get the rest of the money when the banks open on tuesday, drive back up there and it will be mine
