how much would you pay?

hey guys,
i've been a long time honda owner/enthusiast. I'm now ready to make the change to rwd nissans. I'm hoping you guys can give me some good advice first.

I'm looking for a 95 or newer 240sx with under 100k. miles. How much should i pay for such a car, and is there anything i should look for?

Thanks for ANY advice!

Depending on the year and mileage for a 95-96 under 100k around 5-7k(also depends on your location) for 97-98 under 100k should be around 7-10k. 10 if it is in really good conditions and around 50k but shouldn't be more than that.

wouldnt hurt to go ahead and get one month worth of carfax. it is a life saver. when i was on the prowl for a companion for the front clip sitting in my garage all but two of the 240's i looked at had some kind of history. its just real hard to find a perfect one now days. good luck.

I paid 1700 for mine, it was a 93 coupe, the expensive model( power windows, loks, mirrors, sun roof, etc.) automatic. it had new timing belt, and new oil pump. Air conditioning had been flushed and filled with new enviromentaly friendly gas. The only thing was some rust behind the sunroof and in the hood. So it was a good deal. It had 160K on it

don't know much about the s14 and prices but with the 240sx coupes or fastbacks just think of a range from 3,500 or lower. I wouldn't go any higher than that unless it had something real special inside like some really nice parts...IMO i wouldjust look for a stock 240sx then u could do what u want with it. Good luck buddy
