I am sure this is a nubie question...

I am sure this might be by far the dumdest question asked.. but oh well ,

I am not sure what exactly to do with my car , I keep hearing a SR swap or a CA swap, I want to keep the stock motor so seeing how the front of my car is banged up pretty good,(http://www.club240.com/forums/showth...&threadid=4662) I have been pointed in the direction of getting a front clip, my question is, do I just cut and weld the new non bent or broken peices on to my car or do I just cut the front off (firewall forward) and then weld the new clip on? Will welding the whole clip on mess up the integrity of the car(if that is an option). also is there any good write-ups with pictures? I have been looking on google but haven't found any start to finish swap info.

thanks in advance
Thomas

no, you get front clips so you can have everything that was on the previous car without having to go out and buy extra stuff... you don't have to cut off the front of your car or anything, you just put everything that will fit from the clip you bought into your current car...thats kinda what you were asking right?
