I know I'm gunna get scolded for this.

I work at a dealership and I noticed a 1997 240SX with 37K for sale on the back lot. $5000. Not sure what motor is in it. I'll be honest, I don't know much about Nissans...which is why I'm here posting to you guys. That price is about blue book value but when I went on Autotrader to price some there were 240SX's with 100K+ going for $9000! Is this the norm?! Would I be crazy for passing this deal up? Let me in on what the hell is going on.

That's what I thought. Im trying to get a hold put on it for me right now. Hopefully I'll have it by this weekend and I'll post some pictures of it. Guess I'll put the A2 GTI Project on hold. Sorry! I have a VW.

That is a good deal for S14 but I wouldn't pay that for a project car. I try and find the cheapest car so I have more to fix (I like working on cars) and I have more money to put into it.

Naturally, the car was on hold for someone else. If he can't come up with the funds I'll definately jump on it and post some pics by next week. If not, it wasn't meant to be...I knew it sounded too good to be true. We'll see what happens.

I definately won't pass this deal up if the other guy doesn't buy it, even if no one bought it at my dealership it would go to a dealer auction. I know...it sucks.
