I weighed my 240

2560 with 3/8 of a tank of gas.

sr swap (lighter than ka)
z32 brakes (lighter than oem iron calipers?)
z32 rims (lighter than oem steel rims?)
everything behind the front seats gutted.
no stereo
no speakers
manual windows, door lock, and sun roof.
no ac.
manual seat belts. everything except for computer pulled.
buddy club spec 2 exhaust

good? bad? ordinary?

i was pleased with the weight considering how little i gutted.

i can still pull the door panels
carpeting
tar
fiberglass hood, fenders, hatch.
get lighter rims.
z32 uprights (sitting waiting patiently at home)
gut out the dash....

you should also get a light weight battery while your at it. i'll be taking the cheap route and try a riding mower once my car is running again.

as long as its a 12v and has enough cca's, a battery is a battery.
