ignition problems
Hey guys
Just the other day i started getting an ignition problem in my 93 240, when i turned the key the engine tumbled....well slowly is the best way i know how to explain it. The spark plugs didnt fire as fast as they usually do, there was about a one second interval between each one. So when i got it started, i revved it for a bit and got the engine warm and running. I turned it off started again and it started almost perfectly. It fired a little off timing but not as bad as before. So about 8 hours later, i went to start the car and it was tumbling worse than ever. It wasnt starting until i started pumping the gas pedal, which I realized is the problem once the car hasnt been running for a few hours. Once i get it started that first time itll work for start ok anytime up to 15 minutes after i shut it off. The thing my started motor gave out a few months ago and i had it replaced, so could it be something else? btw the car runs perfectly fine once it is started. Thanks for the help
