Technically it would have to be a group law suit with the company bomex and the owner of that vehicle to sue the little punks that are infringing upon the patent laws.
A portion of that money would go to the owner of the vehicle, while the rest would go to the company BOMEX.
But you have to have proof first, in court you have to have the pics of your ride on there web pages.
For all you know, they are in these forums as well reading our post, next thing you know they will remove there website before you even get any proof.

any word on this? i read somewhere that pictures posted on the internet are "fair game". thats why most people/websites mark their pictures all over in the background so no one else uses them. the only other thing is, even though its not the "genuine" product, it is an exact replica, thats why most websites use any nice pic that they find. i had the same thing happen to me when i had my lancer. 2 websites were using my pics to promote their bodykits.

Take Terra Patric for example, famous **** star who had her face plastered in almost every **** company's website that she didn't do business with. It falsely misrepresents her so she sued and won.

Plus its just plain shady of them that they have to steal pics for their website. A big company like that should be able to ask for permission, or better yet offer some small incentives like a discount on parts to those who submit pics for their site.

First off showing off your ride makes you vulnerable in the FORUMS.
Like BOMEX180, example there is a company misrepresenting him and not paying him for the hard work spent on his vehicle, they are stealing his idea's, and calling them there own.
Secondly I know people that are only in the forums to act friendly and meet up with people to CAR JACK there ride.
Third reason is that it just completely strips you of your right to privacy.
I recently showed off my engine in the begining phases of my performance build, just because people wanted explained the EGR block off method. But don't take it that I will always show pics especially if people demand it of me.
I would be stripping myself to right of privacy.
I'm here to give away information, not my car.

there's several guys on altimas.net that have been through this. most of them settle and get paid or the company usually takes the pics down and shows the bare body parts.
all in all it's most likely not going to court but it Bomex's lawyers are willing to work with you you should seriously consider suing over the case.
your car is hot and it's just that... "your car"
