i got no spark. ive replaced the coil, the ignition control mod., cap and rotor, and i have 12v. at all connections but no spark. ne idea ne 1?

 

i know this sounds stupid, but did you try replacing the spark plugs?

 

i replaced the plugs and wires a month ago b4 emissions. the problems long b4 the spark plugs. i get no spark from the coil but 12v. at the coil harness plug and ingnition control mod. plug. is there any other part to this dern ignition system im missing? im just short of replacing the ecu. i have a spare

 

try a new coil, prob under warranty maybe?

 

dont bother replacing the ecu, its almost never the ecu.

 

i can vouch for that... ecu = like teh rock.

is the ecu magnetically shielded?

 

found it. bad signal wire on the ignition control modual. and i have some pretty beefy 12's (diamond tdx) and it didnt mess up my spare ecu.
