im guessing.. if you win the auction for say $300... you get on the group buy list so that you can buy it for $425... so basically you'll be paying $725 for that innercooler.

I agree with CAPE 240, sorry jbask but don't take offence.
Ebay is designed to let little nobody entrepenuers thrive. Hell I am 1 of them. They pretty much run a company out of there house and order cheap parts from CHINA and claim to sell it as authentic JDM, research your products before purchasing.........
Most products are not quality at all and are sold at the cost of quality products............
Buy a JDM engine off ebay lately, chances are it didn't pass it's compression testing and they are selling it as an authentic 30,000mile engine. I know this as facts some of my friends do this kind of shady business.
Research before purchasing........
That intercooler you purchased isn't worth anymore than $200 and I bet you paid $450 or more, thats not a deal for a painted chrome intercooler, it will flake off by the end of the year.......
Like I said no quality at ebay.....Well at least once in a full moon..........

who cares if it flakes off? really, if it works, and has a low pressure drop and cools nicely I could care less what it looks like..

I would have no problem buying from that seller... look at his ratings and feedback..

that's pretty damn impressive. they let us people that don't have a whole lot of money to blow on our cars buy things we need... sure it may not be as good as quality than say Greddy, HKS, and such, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper... I've never had problems ordering off ebay.. but some stuff I will only buy if it's name brand, or has good feedback.

You missed my point bro......
If the intercooler is sold for $200 and he sells it at 130% markup who is getting scammed. It's not worth what you pay. If you did a little R&D you could of purchased it directly through another company other than through EBAY because it is an "EASY" market place, you can get the intercooler for the advertised cost of $200.........
Hey now to me that is worth some flaking....
I don't mind cheap intercoolers if they work, but if the production is cheap I wan't to pay "cheap prices". Not that of QUALITY WHOLE SALE PRICES............
I would rather spend the $600 for a quality "triple dipped chrome" any day............
You guys "act "like noobs, just not developing enough R&D and it is at the expence of your pocket book...........
Common' when you pay for quality you are paying for R&D, and innovation such as HKS and Greddy to name a few. those companys deserve what they make there not imatators that cheat the system and infringe upon other companies copy rights.

I know what you're saying... I will most likely only buy name brands for my car, because I want good quailty products.. that's why it's going to take a lot of time and money until my car is completed... there's only a few random pieces I would buy "generic"... I was just saying that some people dont have money and common sence, so they buy cheap stuff off ebay that works for them.. i'm probably making no sense though, it's late.. i'll probably edit all this tomorrow...

I would get a greddy fmic for $650 from a store before I ever paid to get on a list for a group buy then pay $500 for a no-name intercooler.

ebay is good and bad, sometimes you can find once in a life time deals like brand new, never opened arc fmic for $700 less then retail

i wouldn't pay over 300 for that, i was just wondering wtf he mean by the auction price and the getting on the list sh*t price,,,

as for ebay, i've bought stuff off of ebay, and well u do save some money that if u buy the true generic stuff, cuz there're just some stuff ppl can't fake.. like tein coilover and such,,, they have warranty on them too..

as for intercooler, with low drop and looks fine, ill hit one on ebay, dnt need to be no brand name for an iintercooler they all will work fine... as for buying engine on ebay, that is something i would never concider..

The intercooler is all aluminum! No paint or chrome ot peel or chip. And it was $199. There are ****y products out there but do a little looking and you can find good stuff.
