Jim's 10 Second truck just got faster...(video)

Some of you may have seen his silverado on the internet before, he's a local here in Nebraska. For those of you that don't know, it's a turbo'd (and nitrious) Silverado. He just got his recent dyno #'s in after adding a shot of nitrious to the truck and wow....it's amazing! 767whp and 1000 ft-lb torque! A must see video!

Are you sure it's Jim? I know he has a megasquirt, but he doesn't tune on them that I'm aware of. Where are you from?

I'm not sure of his email, there are tons of guys here running the megasquirt. A lot of the honda guys are going that route also. I might be able to get you the email address of the guy here locally who put together and tuned Jim's 10 second truck if you want? He's on the local racing board that I'm on. Let me know!

Well....Obviosly he has lots of money.

BUT IS HE RETARDED????? He must be.

1000lbs of torque. 135 mph 1/4 speeds.

AND STOCK TIRES.

WHAT THE HELL!???? He could take LOTS of time off of his 1/4 times AND would be a lot safer with aftermarket slicks/racing tires. Not only is he losing performance to the ground, he is driving WAY too fast on crappy tires!!!!

WTF???

He can't run slicks/drag racing tires right now, his axles can't handle it. I do agree that he may be driving too fast on stock tires but he can't run slicks for the time being.

im going to look into this a little bit more... if it can be custom built then there is a cheap ems system... the main reason i want to do something like this is to take the junk mafs out of my 240 and set it up with a map sensor like older fuel injected chevy motors... if it can handle that then we are in business...

Now that i'm thinking about it.....

I'm not sure i believe those times at all.

10 sec quarter time on stock tires. I don't even know if thats possible.

Now i know it would be hard to fake that video, but come on....How many STOCK tired vehicles can run 10's??? If he really has 1000tq, he would just smoke the tires through the entire run.

whats up w/ that??!!!
