Just finsihed my 5-speed swap again!

I got my trans back friday. When i first got it it didn't want to shift at all. I guess during shipping they like to lock up for some reason.

I started taking it apart and i put it back togheter and it worked just fine.

Spent about 1.5 hours getting it bolted all back in and everything. Went to start the car.... Wouldn't start.

I knew the reason but couldn't figure out how to fix the problem. Finally at 2:30am this morning i got it to start and took it for a drive in the snow :blah:

It seems to be running good. Not having a dampener box and a steel braided clutch line makes a huge difference when shifting.

Pix in a few hours, i gotta put everything back in the car

Some things to note for anyone doing a swap.

You can use the auto tranny mount

You only need the reverse, and speed sensor.

You need to loop the bottom connector by the car battery, not the top.

If i think of any more i'll let u know.

thanks, when i took the tranny apart i found a spring on the floor. I believe that its on the the springs that hold the shift forks steady. My 2nd gear comes out of gear if i dont hold it for a while. Think thats the problem.

Here are some pix. It came out actually really clean.

Car is still a little dirty.

Cut the stock brake, thats why it looks a little angled.

I passed emissions today and i did not think i would. After my aftermarket intake i blocked off all my emmsions. Everyone said i wouldn't pass.

hmm thats not as much as I thaught it would be. Well right now im workin on a S15 conversion, because I got a wrecked 95 SE, that needed a front, so I decided what a better time then now. Just orded the headlights sunday. Had to get some part of the conversion that way I would stick with it lol.
