whats up guys, i just picked up a 89 hatch, i have a question. when i floor the gas pedal y doesnt the rev limiter go off? it just goes to 6500rpm and shuts the fuel of and drops down to 3k rpm.
is there any way i can just have the rev limiter go off and stay at 6500-7000 rpm?

you are hitting the revlimiter at 6500. it cuts the fuel so you don't keep reving it and blow it up.

well you dont wann cruse at 6.5k rpm it will kill your motor . dont drive a motor liek that unless its rotary

Yeah, its not good to hit the rev limiter, I forget what it does, but its not good for the engine. But about adjusting the fuel cut-off, I'm not sure.
