I dunno if you have moral issues but getting keyed is like winning the lottery. I dunno whats it like where u live, but insurance here covers everything once you pay the deductable.

take it to a shop and talk to the owner about "stuff" if u know what i mean and get a one off paint job for pretty much free. people do it all of the time.

make sure its keyed bad tho. get all of the panels and do swirls :P

 

not everyone has a $10 deductable. mine is like $500 iirc

 

yea and geico would laugh at me if i said i wanted my 10+ yr old car to get a new paint job cuz it got keyed. idk man. i think you should take it to a reputable detailer and a body shop to see what they say. get oppinions. i detail and that is a biotch most of the time to deal with. good luck.

 

all im saying is if u have hookups, you can get a great paintjob for the price of the deductable. Even if your deductable is a grand (which i doubt), its still worth it.

But of course, make sure they paint it well in the end.

..why not break a couple windows at the sametime. i know the stock windows on the s13 get scratched overtime by something in the door

 

wow that really sucks. my bro got keyed a year bck at school cause all the dumbass kids are jealous. he just had to pay the deductible which was sumthing like 300 to get it repainted and his car is a 92

 

speaking of paint could anyone help me out??? I jus got a '93 240 and i love the color (its like a cherry red) and i want to get a perfect color match when i get it painted __--- does anybody know the Exact name of the factory color??

 

the paint is jus REALLY badly sun-burn and oxidized on the plastic bumpers, but its perfect on the main body so i want to get it painted and dont want a 2-tone McDonalds paint job

 

no idea nickz but i have the same color, but my paint is still pristine and factory crisp. except for the keying of course.

 

i looked all over and goggled and errthing... but couldnt find a factory color/accesorie list for a '93

 

alright i just found a color chart and its either (AG2) aztec red or (AH3) Cherry red pearl, but i couldnt find color pics or examples

 

i remember going to kragan the other day. there was an actual list of all the colors for the s13 models. can't remember them tho. there was no color sample either. bummer.

 

i found out that its aztec red, i shouldnt have been a dummas, i felt stupid because i found out it tells u the color in the doorjam label and on the riveted firewall plate under the hood.

 

yeah Cherry Red Pearl is the other nasty burgundy looking colour......which is the colour of my car FTW!!!

Aztec Red is real nice tho
