kilometers or miles?
Hey guys,
I am almost on my way to purchasing a 240SX but the thing is that its a Canadian car, and i live in the US. So will there be any downsides to buying a Canadian car?
The things that i have thought of so far is the odometer, is there any way to like change it to miles or something? Or can i put a new odometer or is that illegal?
I know ill be getting confused about when to get an oil change

those lucky canucks. and to clarify, they all got nissan's viscous LSD.
an LSD's job:
say you take a turn while racing (ie going very fast). one tire is going to have less traction than another. It's physics, we all learn to cope. With an open differential, which is in virtually every car on the road unless your car manufacturer is nice or you yourself put in an LSD, the tire with the least amount of grip will begin to spin wildly. The torque follows the path of least resistance. A freely spinning tire (usually the outside tire) like that will begin to pull the car into a 360 and your glorious cornering technique ends in a plume of blue tire smoke.
An LSD somewhat eliminates this by forcing the tire with the grip to continue using the torque. In the case of Nissan's VLSD, a viscous fluid causes the freespinning tire to drag the inner tire with it. In a clutch type (1 way, 1.5 way and 2 way) LSD, the wheels are locked together forcing them to spin at the same rate whenever acceleration is asked of the car.
A helical type LSD is still a mystery to me on how it works. It involves diagonally cut gears and it's supposed to act like an open diff entering turns so you lead to oversteer and then tighten up like an lsd for the exit.
my knowledge of LSD's is still kinda lame, so I know i have errors in that. Fix them! someone!

I dunno what the big deal is between KM and Miles conversion.
Just leave the thing alone. If you inexperienced, you might
f*ck something else up while trying to do the conversion.
Like ixcocoyxi said, keep it JDM yo.

Didn't the canadian 240's also come stock with foglights? My 93 hicas didn't come with any, so I bought a set of Canadian daytime running lights and they work swEEt.
And it's the damn Americans fault they use Miles, and the damn rest of the world uses logical KM's. So blame them for that, lol.
