I think that I know the gist of it but can someone explain the Silvia K's and the Silvia Q's to me? K's equal turbo and the Q's equal non-turbo...correct?

 

As far as I know, that's the deal. If I remember correctly, there's also a Silvia J's - not sure what that gets.

J = Jack
Q = Queen
K = King

That's how they came up with the lettering, it's easy to remeber that way.

No really, the letters stand for Jacks Queens and Kings.

1988-1990 CA18DE / CA18DET
1991+ SR20DE / SR20DET

The J's was probably an n/a stripper model. CA18DE or SR20DE with few other options/

The Q's would probably add power options to the package, maybe a sunroof and/or lsd but would still get the CA18DE or SR20DE.

The K's was the top dog, with the options and the CA18DET or SR20DET.
