Arrow Lamix-x headlight protective films... anyone?

I was screwin around and came across this site

http://www.lamin-x.com/default.asp

It is for protective layers you can put over headlights, this is mainly for zenki owners. I know that polishing my headlights sucks, so i was going to get em nice and shiny and throw one of these on, didn't know if anyone had any experience with these?

Also they has a cool looking 'optic-blue' looking film that you can put over the headlights, might look cool on a dark color 240, didn't know if anyone has experience with these to help with less oxidation behind 240 headlights ;D

well, thats cool looks like someone else checked em out too, i wish they had pre-cut kits for 240's. I'm sure as hell not sending my headlights off and paying 60 dollars for someone to clean them for me ;D hehe, but that thread has some useful cleaning info.

Yeah seriously the how-to is right there... I wouldn't ship off my lights + $60 either; I mean, I daily drive my car.

*note to self* buy elbow grease from AutoZone*

I used a plastic/plexiglass cleaner that I had around the house. It's a little bit cheaper, but If you were going to go buy the metal polish I'm sure the 1-3 dollar difference won't sway you much. It's like 4-6 dollars I think.

Elbow grease can be found south of the border, where the buffalo roam.

See i was planning on getting a set of these yellow headlight cover, which would match my fog light and i could be a gt class 240! hehe, but i think it might look alright with the flat black i got going, i wish the site had some more pictures or someone else on here did, i've seen it on 350z's and it doesn't look bad, i want to see the yellow or blue on some more cars other than porsches.
