I am going to change my own oil but I have never done it on the 240sx before. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the location of the factory oil filter on a KA. Any other tips would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.

 

pop the hood, look to the left of the engine.

follow the intake, and when the intake ends, look under it little bit farther, you will see a round thingy. thats the filter.

heres a pic, it doesnt really show the filter, but you can kinda realize where is it at.

let the engine cool or the intake manifold will burn u, gets really annoyin if its a hot day haha

ha they ripped u apart. the oil filter is annoying to get at...i had problems the first time i did it

 

The location is NOTHING like a Miata, took me 30-45 minutes just to get my hands on the damn thing!

 

i did it and it was easy to get the filter out

Man, Im glad I ran across this forum before that one. What a bunch of fools! Suhster feel free to ask me questions next time. Im not good with the state side engines but have played with SRs/RBs for the last 7 years. Ill do what I can to help ya instead of humiliate you.
